Hi Dave,
I can't reproduce this. Maybe I can help further if you provide some more
details such as the output details of one of those failing gcc commands.

Well, "returned error code 1" is everything I get. What shall I do to get
further informations?

I think on the right side of the window there is an icon that has some
horizontal lines. I think that will show the actual output of the gcc command.

<command-line>: error: "__IPHONE_OS_VERSION_MIN_REQUIRED" redefined
<command-line>: error: this is the location of the previous definition
Command /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/usr/bin/gcc-4.2
failed with exit code 1
This is the line below which actually shows the error.

Well, I have no clue where to change these values, but it appears that this is
no issue in MobileTerminal itself. So, problem solved...more or less

You change those values in the project settings. Perhaps there is an incorrect
default value in the project settings, but for now i'll mark unless someone has
more details.

This issue can be closed.
In a moment where a mixture of compiler-driven rage, pure hate against the
machine and other various stuff worked together, I found a very dirty way to
fix.
I opened the package content of the .xproj file and the project properties.
There I changed the 3.2 string to 4.1.
Just in case somebody cares
