Error in payment request from with message "javax.net.ssl.SSLHanshakeException: Remote host closed connection during handshake" #731

Multibit HD 0.1.3 Windows 7

I generated a payment request using Electrum 2.4. Clicked on the link. This started Multibit HD. After entering Trezor Pin and unlocking wallet, Multibit HD gave the following error message at the top and did not process the payment request:

Error in payment request from with message "javax.net.ssl.SSLHanshakeException: Remote host closed connection during handshake"

Changing the browser settings to use Bitcoin Core 0.11.0 the same payment request was accepted and the payment made.

Hi tl121,

To make it easier to see what caused the error, can you go into the MultiBit HD Help and click on the 'Report error' button please and upload an error report. If you could add in the description of the error report this issue number (#731) it'll make it easier for me to find. Thanks, Jim

I have recreated the problem and uploaded the error log as suggested.

If you like I can send you a URL where you can experience this problem directly (for an hour), but I want to send the URL in a private message.
