@chrisveilleux is first checking if this is caused by a config not updating - being your timezone config in device settings.
If that's not the issue, we'll investigate other causes.
Higher priority as incorrect datetime can impact a whole range of things.
Not an incorrect system date - just not updating the GUI.

Post-install FYI #1 - day off MarkII-dev-kit v6 ' Mar 7 approx 2300 UTC loaded "stable software", paired via ethernet cable my 'device' (on mycroft.ai) was updated to "Latest" AS OF Mar 8 0230 UTC video screen was showing 'stable timestamp' [lower right corner] BY Mar 8 1030 UTC video screen was showing the 'latest timestamp' [lower LEFT corner] ' 'standby face' display was off my one day.- time was accurate ie. it was Monday morning , but the screen showed Sunday - the day I loaded the 'stable' I 'asked' :: "what day is it?" - it told/showed me Monday the 8th , THEN the 'standby face' was correct ' suggestion - run a 'date' command after a 'latest' update ' P.S. I understand there are possible issues with the update process - just trying to pinpoint some points
