Update MyoConverter for Latest OpenSim and MuJoCo Versions #30

Hi, I just wanted to express how much I appreciate your library – it's been incredibly helpful in my work! However, I've encountered some issues when trying to use it with the newest OpenSim models and the latest release of MuJoCo.

Could you possibly consider updating MyoConverter to ensure compatibility with these new versions? Such an update would be tremendously beneficial for many of us who depend on your tool.

Thanks for all your hard work and looking forward to the possibility of an updated MyoConverter!

Hi,

We're so glad to hear that MyoConverter has helped you in your research. OpenSim and MuJoCo are being developed at quite a fast pace, so you can imagine that it's difficult to keep up with them. As everything stands, there are still quite a few OpenSim 4.x features that aren't implemented yet. This is something we'd need community effort for.

Right now we don't have a list of features that are missing, though. We implement them as needed or as we encounter them. Is there a specific model (or a set of models) that you're having difficulties with? If they are publically available, could you point me to them? If not, would you be able to share them with me privately?
