During the testing of the ANMS GUI, it was noted:
• New and modified ADMs may be uploaded and displayed in the ADM tab. The controls, templates, variables, and EDDs are available for selection in the Build tab. However, when used, no reports or tables are returned from the agent.
• A new ADM, or a modified one, is not recognized by the agent and to achieve this sort of round-trip test would require effort outside the scope of the test environment.
It seems likely this scenario will arise at some point in an operational environment, and test procedures to verify the ADM will be needed.
It would be helpful to have the GUI provide some visibility into event logs for each of the agents for this category of testing we are currently able to do, and to possibly support future testing.
