Related problems

We’ve heard from users and commentators that information about why SLIM is important and how to get involved would be beneficial to add to the front page of the website. Additionally, @stirlingalgermissen mentioned the importance of synchronizing the About page with the front page.

Describe the feature request

We could consider making the front page “all encompassing” to feature additional information like:

Explaining the audience of who SLIM is for
Trying to convince visitors to adopt SLIM (the benefits)
Trying to convince visitors to contribute to SLIM
Quickly explaining the “who” behind SLIM
Linking to guidance on how to use SLIM

The website was extensively updated to satisfy this ticket in SLIM V1.4.0. Closing ticket as satisfied for now.
