Can't click on anything / The ui elements aren't selectable

Issue:

(Might be related to Issue #2)

So um when i try to select something in SaikouTV nothing works expect the Search button on the top I can't see an outline when i try to scroll up and down and I cannot even scroll the genres or series horizontally,, it always gets stuck

Steps To Reproduce the issue:

Install SaikouTV 1.0.8
Open SaikouTV 1.0.8
Try to go upwards and downwards or click on anything without using mouse cursor
While trying to click using mouse cursor the app may sometimes crash

Can you please tell me something about the TV device your using? Brand? Model?

The app is designed to be used with the remote arrow buttons, mouse input is not supported at all as if your TV somehow has it you should be able to use the regular saikou on it.

Tv specs kanged from my previous issue: #1

Vendor: Singer

Model: Singer Vista? (They don't have exact codename for it)

Tv screen res and size: ~28 inch (Applies to screen) / 1920 x 1080p Or 32 Inch (Full Tv Size)

SoC: mt5863

Android ver: 7.0 (API 24)

Cpu-Architecture: Armabi-v7a

Yeah i tried to use remote arrow buttons but they don't seem to be working tho like nothing is selectable except the search button (shown in screenshots) i can go left and right + upwards and downwards using remote arrow buttons but I can't see the selection outline so I can't select anything (except the top left search button)

plus the built-in mouse is pain to use i'd prefer the remote controls instead 😭

I'm afraid i have no idea what happens with your device, or how is it supposed to work.

If your able of using a mouse cursor maybe your better off using regular saikou on your TV? other than that i can only think your remote (or your android rom) must not be sending the correct events to the app, are you somehow able to plug in a keyboard and try the arrow keys? have you tried using the official Google TV remote app?

I don't have a keyboard but i tried using my phones built-in IR as a remote and its still the same result hmmmm maybe I'll send a vid of my issue to give a better understanding xd

Oh btw when i use Cloudstream3(TV) there's no issue like that in the Cloudstream3(TV) app everything just works (probably cause different tv Implementation)

maybe try looking at Cloudstream3 code abit we may find an workaround for this :D

@Nanoc6 I'm having the same issues. I'm using a FireTV stick 4k.

FireTV stick 4 Fire OS 6.2 8.9 (Ns62889/3905 Build 6370055.1

I've also checked using a keyboard and it does the same thing. There is also a glitch where if you press right to scroll the lists it goes all the way to the end and the. Back to the beginning in about 3 seconds total.
