Feature request: Links to related cards on card pages #339

Over on ArkhamDB, card pages have a "related cards" section, as seen on Shrivelling. While I don't know how that community decides on what qualifies, it seems like that would be a neat feature for NetrunnerDB.

It could be used to link between cards in a series, like the cutlery suite, or between runners and their associated consoles, for example.

That's a cool idea! I don't know how we'd do it currently, but i def will think about that.

Maybe it could also be used to point to reimplementations of cards, like Chisel and Trypano are to Parasite, or Diversion of Funds is to Account Siphon. Obviously, that gets into subjective territory, but I expect it could still be a useful use case.

The MTG spoiler aggregator Mythic Spoiler does this to degree as well, showing a "Thesaurus" of similar cards. I don't know how the related cards are determined, though!

This is partially about different printings of the same card and partially about "replacement" cards. I am pretty confident we aren't going to address multiple printings until nrdb v2 and i think that may also be true of the related cards. I'll talk with the rest of the web team soon about it though.
