Please allow auto-renewal of domains, and domains will only automatically expire if users have not logged in for more than 2 years, etc. rather than having to log in at the precise date-range to renew it; while unable to do so at other times to extend the expiry period. It is unfeasible for those who have purchased/bid a very large amount of domains.
The team can perhaps also consider taking/taxing a small percentage of successful domain sales and bidding activities to fund the development (i.e. 1%, and with a fix minimum absolute amount).
