restoration sites historic - Prescriptions - Regional District of Nadina - Community Futures #48

many prescriptions here including guideing principles and impact drivers for each reach assessed in many locations in Upper Bulkley. Will start by just extracting tables of what was completed. Hand work will be required to extract coordinates from report and add to summary table of prescription locations. Areas included are:

• Bulkley River • Buck Creek (including Klo Creek and Dungate Creek) • Richfield Creek • McQuarrie Creek • Byman Creek • Aitken Creek • Barren Creek • Emerson Creek • Dockrill Creek

Tried tracking down microsoft access database produced during project from Greg Tamblan (might have his name spelled wrong here) and others years ago to a direct answer from Greg that it was MIA. Unfortunate as much spatial data was amalgamated there already.

@Marjorie-ARocha - I believe Cindy looked for the digital deliverables from this (microsoft access database) in the streamkeepers curated library in Houston but couldn't hurt to look again. 99.9% sure we are dealing with pdfs at this point but worth a look if you might be able too

The curated Community Futures library has just recently been transferred to the Office of the Wet'suwet'en library in Smithers, we passed it to Samantha Vincent. We directed Manuela from Eclipse Geomatics to check that out as they're working towards a Skeena database for restoration projects using the Upper Bulkley as a pilot. It could work well for you to work together as you're both looking for lots of the same data. manuela@eclipsegeomatics.com

@NewGraphEnvironment Cindy found a number of CDs! I'll check them out tomorrow, and try get the data off to share with you.

mining the text seems to be working well enough to get some summaries. We will be able to convert to spatial file with a little bit more wrangling.
