"A exception occurred in the script" when installing The Mod Configuration Menu for FNV #1292

Describe the bug I wanted to use The Mod Configuration Menu "An exception occured in the script", this happened with several other mods I've tried, and even uninstalled the game, verified the files, uninstalled and re-installed Nexus. Nothing is working

Experienced same problem myself. For me: Install latest version of NVSE manually, then install MCM from NMM. This allowed for a successful installation.
