Feature request: allow upload image of item #12

Hi, would be great if not only the camera can be used to capture an image of the product, but also using images available on my phone already. Thanks

No problem, at beginning I decided to add two button, one for take camera and the other for upload image. But in my way, I buy new food and record them in my app directly, so the upload button is not very frequent to use then I removed it; it's not difficult to turn it back.^_^ BTW, in which situation would you upload existing image rather than just take a photo?

Thanks. Does it have to be two buttons? Would be a nicer UX if it is just one button, when I tap it a pop-up asks me to either open camera or open gallery?

BTW, in which situation would you upload existing image rather than just take a photo?

It's mainly because I do not like the look of my foods on camera. I prefer clean stock images from the app of the supermarket I go to (ah.nl).
