Hi @rmoecklicsm this can be easily added with the interface with v2.0
Do you know the wild card template url for the webmail service? If not can you please email the support team for that webmail this email:
Hi Support Team@Kerio Connect, I was looking for the "Wildcard Compose URL" for your webmail service. For example Hotmail wildcard url is: "https://mail.live.com/secure/start?action=compose&to=%s", where the "%s" is where the clicked on email address gets populated. For instance when I click on a mail link of "mailto:blah@hotmail.com" it should navigate to "https://mail.live.com/secure/start?action=compose&to=blah@hotmail.com".
Other webmail services like Yahoo Mail, Gmail, and AOL Mail provide these wildcard URLs, can you please share with me a wildcard url that will work with your webmail service?
Whoops accidentally closed, reopened. :)
:-) Ok well maybe the issue is, that I can't edit the preferences, the button shows no reaction, Firefox 41.0.1 on osx 10.10.5, in Safari I got it to work with another addon, with this URL https://myserver.domain/webmail/index2.html#mail/compose/compose:{to}
Ah thanks for that, can you try version 2, if thats a problem than i have to fix it.
how do I get version 2? sorry can't find your addon somewhere else... the link in the addon settings brings me here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/mailtowebmails/
Oh it hasnt been approved yet for public so you have to get it from the versions page on AMO:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/mailtowebmails/versions/
Is kerio connect like a service? and people can register for their domains? so should we create a template? Like we did with SmarterMail and Roundcube?
Oh never mind based on your url it looks totally private huh?
Absolut! and also I do not like stuff which is not approved.. :-) i tried it anyway but it asks me if I want to send a mail and than pushes me anyway to the native one, and also I need the %s which is usually not needed.. I will try later again. Kerio connect is a mailserver as an Exchange alternative
thx anyway
You have to click "Set as Active"
Hover over the "Inactive" button after you have added it. You have to also replace the {to}
with %s
so in all cases, either you need {to}
or %s
, I can change it in future to use {to}
instead of %s
if its easier for users to understand.
This image explains how to click "set as active":
I was trying to install a webmail service from the options panel of MailtoWebesrvices but the one I was looking for was not found. I was looking for Kerio Connect
