Can't import GR2 because lslib doesn't see granny2.dll in folder #122

I've tried a dozen granny2.dll files but I don't think I have the right one. I drop one in the application folder, but I get "Import Failed"

Internal error!

System.IO.InvalidDataException: Granny2.dll is required for compressed GR2 files.

"f you download version 1.15.13, it will have the granny2.dll. Just copy it into your latest version's folder" - exJad Worked for me.

Hi. I've had the same problem. Tried numerous things. Only the replacement of granny2.dll fixed this error, but another one appeared instead of the previous. System.Exception: Unsupported position format: UInt16, 4 image An error appears when I try to convert .gr2 to .dae Wasted a lot of time fighting this problem, but got defeated... I would appreciate it, if someone could help me with this.

I have not seen that particular error, and I am no guru on this topic, however, I see that the previous person said to place granny2.dll " Just copy it into your latest version's folder", however you need to place it in an additional folder I am told, which the poster neglected to mention. I can't say for certain that this will fix your problem or even if it is mandatory, but that is what several others have said. I am not in front of my regular computer to know for sure what that folder name is, but I think it was /tools , a subfolder of the main folder. Wish you the best, and you could also try the Larian discord and ask in the BG3 modding channel for help, or do a search. There is not as much well organized centralized help as I thought there would be for a game that was this long in EA, and level of popularity. Good luck.
