Books won't load in IE8

This issue occurs both on live and the version on test.m.e17.dk: In IE8, the player stalls indefinitely at the loading stage when retrieving books. Steps to reproduce:

Log on m.e17.dk or test.m.e17.dk - either as a guest or yourself.
Click on a book - type is irrelevant - from your book shelf.

Expected behaviour: The book is loaded and you are referred to the player. Actual behaviour: The 'Indlæser bog' message stays on the screen and nothing happens. Changing the browser or document settings seems to change nothing.

You have to test it on live - m.e17.dk.

Doesn't seem to be an issue anymore. Tested on live with IE8 (and IE9, Chrome and Safari). Tested bouth as normal user and as guest.

Not relevant since IE8 is now unsupported.
