The book begins when i press play (and not all the mumble jumble)

The index etc of the book should still remain, but the book should - after the short legal disclaimer - start playing from the first page

The criteria of success is that this happens for all books, where we have a formal indication in XML. See below issue for a list

Tasks:

• Write code: 8 timer.
• Test on various books: 5 timer.

Handled by setting a special skip state when playing a book the first time (lastMark is missing).

The skip state indicates that black listed content should be skipped.

The player exits skip state as soon as the user navigates in the book.

The list of meta sections (i.e. section types) to black list is in src/config/config.coffee.
