I am using BladeRF to get IQ spectrum signals. I am stucked with below requirments.

  1. How to set the start and stop frequency or Center frequency with span to get sweep of a spectrum

  2. What is the API for settable instantaneous Bandwidth API

  3. What is the API for multiband sweep – I want to sweep 8 different bands of varying BW from 1 Mhz to 56 Mhz. Example 430-460Mhz, 860-928Mhz, 1.2-1.6Ghz and so on.

Dear Community Members,

I am an engineer currently engaged in a project aimed at developing a Spectrum Analyzer capable of covering the full frequency range from 40 MHz to 6 GHz using Software Defined Radio (SDR) boards such as BladeRF and PlutoSDR Plus. I am looking for help (on payable basis also).

  1. The objective is to achieve an applicable sweep rate across this broad spectrum.

  2. In order to effectively implement this project, I am seeking recommendations and assistance regarding suitable open source software programs or frameworks that can facilitate the development of such a Spectrum analyzer.

  3. The ideal program should support:

a. Seamless integration with SDR boards mentioned (BladeRF, PlutoSDR Plus).

b. Capabilities for spectrum scanning & analysis across the 40 MHz to 6 GHz range.

c. Customizable sweep rates and frequency tuning parameters.

d. Compatibility with common operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).

  1. Additionally, I would appreciate any insights into some available solutions (against payment) that may be viable for this application, if open source options are limited or if they offer significant advantages in terms of performance and support.

  2. Your expertise and recommendations would greatly contribute to the success of this project.

  3. Kindly feel free to reach out with your suggestions, experiences, or any relevant resources that could assist in achieving our goals.

Thank you for your time and assistance
