Made some points for an outline. Probably won't use all in the outline as too much already. I will work on the blogpost for a couple of hours max this afternoon and then post as has to go out today :-)

I've got a draft post ready for posting but I would need @petermr to run over the 'Software considerations' part as its not complete. I could top and tail it and give it some context, outcomes - but it needs Peters input before posting or I could leave it out and we use it in another post.
