• Leverage the collaboration with the eContour team to enhance support for RT structures
• Implement rendering capabilities for RT structures in the MPR view
• Develop algorithms to reconstruct contours into surfaces and calculate slice intersections for each viewport
• Utilize Web Workers for efficient and performant reconstruction and rendering of RT structures
• Implement pre-caching mechanisms for slice interpolation intersections to improve responsiveness
• Explore additional enhancements or features related to RT structure support based on feedback and requirements

Why should we prioritize this feature?

Enhancing support for RT structures and enabling their rendering within OHIF will unlock new possibilities for radiation therapy planning and analysis workflows. Prioritizing this feature will not only expand OHIF's capabilities but also position it as a powerful tool for radiation oncology applications, catering to a specialized user base with unique visualization requirements.
