Error uploading ady file to Audyssey app #13

Closed amibumping closed 3 months ago

amibumping commented 3 months ago

Hi, I did all the steps in the video, but when loading the .ady file into the app, it says it is not a correct ady file.

I attach the .ady file. I have compared with the original, and I see a lot of "0" in all channels measures.

The log on audyssey one is this:

***Important: I have figured the reason behind the rare 0m distance problem thanks to calibration file shared by @matten545.

If Audyssey measures your subwoofer's actual required delay (distance) higher than the 6m speaker spacing limit, it will set all speaker distances in the ady file to 0!!!! The app then sets the subwoofer distance to the maximum allowed and fills up the rest of the speakers accordingly. The only work around that was to ask the user for a distance estimate which is now added in the script.

So, if the script is asking you to manually enter your center speaker distance, it's ONLY because even Audyssey has found that your subwoofer requires a delay larger than the maximum distance limit.

Script has completed optimization without any errors. Uploading to the app happens with some Android versions unless you use Google cloud drive. You will find info about it in the YT comments.
