Device won't start #487

I've added 3 devices (Linux server, Netscreen & Fortigate firewalls) into octopussy installed on Ubuntu 8.04. They appear to be logging fine and the summary page shows me lots of messages received in the firewall and server categories but I'm unable to get the devices to go into "Started" Status on the device page. They just stay on "Paused" where do I start to troubleshoot this problem? I've confirmed that I have installed all the perl modules and have now manually installed using CPAN instead to confirm they are all there.

Cheers

Did you add some services to these devices ?

You need to had Service(s) to a device in order to start to parse it.

You can had a Service to a Device by clicking on the 'service' button in the Devices list. File Added: device_service_button.png
