A while back, I noticed that sometimes the game would freeze up for a few seconds, continue again at normal speed, and then freeze up again three days later for several months in a row. I just started an Americanist playthrough and realized that this coincided perfectly with the presidential campaign. Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea what's causing such a weird pattern of freezing up?
