Search as you type.- #493

Hi, all! Thank you for this great add-on. I've struggling a bit with something, tho. I am possitive that I could use it this way, but IDK how, or maybe I'm just confused.

A couple of days ago I installed ClassicShellSetup_4_3_1 (because I didn't know there was a newer version). I was using it WITHOUT the search box, and it had the same functionality as W10 menu: searching programs as you type the letters. I mean, you only press the window button to access the start menu and as soon you start typing letters, the results go showing up accordingly. Now, I unistalled that version and installed the latests OpenShellSetup_4_4_152, but the only way I can get that feature to work is by selecting "Access normally" and "Selected by default" in the "Search Box" tab. The thing is I don't want to see the search box (I'd like it hidden), and I'd like that feature to be the same as the integrated W10 start menu. Am I missing something or I thought I saw something that wasn't there?

Version:

Thank you very much!

Classic Shell never had such feature AFAIK. It would be extremely useful if you could take another look at Classic Shell 4.3.1 and see if you could replicate.

Also, even if this was a feature, it wouldn't make much sense in Open-Shell or Classic Shell as it is. This is because the search box loses focus if you navigate away from the main menu. So if you started typing it would only start looking for hotkeys, and not search.

Ok, @bonzibudd. It was propably that just me not fully understanding the program then. I got used to see the search box so far. I'd only like it to be the same color as the rest of the menu so it doesn't clash. Thank you for your reply.
