There are lots of photos on opentacos and they are used to populate the front page. I have been hesitant to upload all the topo-style photos I have - although they are useful when looking for a particular climb, they would dilute the main page.
There are roughly into two categories of photos:
Those that are interesting in their own right, but maybe don't contain much beta e.g.
There is some overlap, but it would be nice to have metadata indicating which uses are intended. Then they can be prioritized differently depending on context. For example, the front page could prioritize the first category.
