[Feature Request] request for dotted line or dashed line #1076

If there remains an option to draw a dotted or dashed line, it would be more convenient. Generally, I draw lines and use eraser to make it dashed lines.

Hi, please check whether your issue has been raised previously. This has been requested in #178, but won't be added to OpenBoard as explained both there and in the related PR #714.

Of course, you are free to apply the patches to your own build.

Sorry, for raising the issue again. I love the simplicity of Openboard. My request was only for a dashed straight line tool not so many tools like #178 or #714. I have to use openboard 8 to 9 hours daily. So ,I, as a user of Openboard, am still feeling the need of such a tool https://github.com/OpenBoard-org/OpenBoard/issues/178#issuecomment-1960813758. But if the developers dont want, that is the final. Its ok!.

By the way, I am not in a situation to make my own build using those patches. Thanks for your reply
