Cubic Chunks compatibility reports

What is this place?

This is a place where you can report compatibility status of mods. Both compatibility issues and information about compatible mods are welcome here. Don't be discouraged to report information about mods that have been already reported, but with older version of cubic chunks, forge or the mod. It is useful to know that an issue is still relevant after updates. Duplicated reports will be merged into one for a given mod and then deleted to keep this place reasonably easy to navigate and search. It is expected that your specific comment here will be deleted and it's content moved. Mods that work should also be reported, even if it looks like mods of the reports are about incompatibilities.

Off-topic messages will be deleted. This is not a place for discussion.

-- RFtools 1.12-7.73 and RFtools dimensions 1.12-5.71 -- CC 1056.1 and CWG 127 Nearly Stable except for one block (the elevator block from RFtools) will freeze gui's and physics and when save and exiting crash the game. Everything else it CC and CWG compatible and tested at y = -3000 to y = 3000 and in RFtool's dimensions too. Side note: Lovely holographic projections of land!

Void Island Control

Mod link: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/void-island-control Status: Nearly stable. Attempting to go to the nether in a Void Island Control world with cubic chunks enabled will crash the game if you have the netherVoid option set to true in the VIC config file. If it's set to false it works fine and generates the nether.

Tested CC version: 1.12.2-0.0.1055.0 Tested Forge version: forge-14.23.5.2854 Tested VIC version: voidislandcontrol-1.5.3

Realistic Torches

Mod Link: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/realistic-torches Status: Works fine on FlatCubic + CustomCubic. Crashes with any other world type that has Cubic Chunks set to Default. CC: 0.0.1064.0 CWG: 0.0.129.0 MalisisCore: 6.5.1 Tested Forge versions: 14.23.5.2854 Tested Realistic Torches versions: 2.1.1 Additional info: OpenEye crash | Full crash report | This was tested with and without CWG and the results/crash report are the same (excluding mod listings, of course!) EDIT: Forgot to mention that this was tested on the Twitch launcher, however Twitch simply launches the official Minecraft launcher once mods are setup, so there shouldn't be much difference.

Edited by Barteks2x: inspecting the mod's code, disabling torch world generation should get around this issue. Should be fixed in next CC version

Edit by Barteks2x: Should work better without CWG, and the issue may be fixable. Seems like the mod isn't expecting custom structure generation.

@Barteks2x Reported as https://github.com/turbodiesel4598/NuclearCraft/issues/693. And it was fixed.

Status: Mostly Stable, mouse directions and camera are locked to an upright position, rather than following the player. For example, setting the gravity to up causes everything but the camera and mouse to flip, meaning mouse controls are flipped compared to the world.

(I can't edit issues on GitHub, since I use an older browser for functionality reasons and rely on this plugin https://github.com/JustOff/github-wc-polyfill which does not solve everything.)

AtomicStryker's Minions mod for 1.12.2 is now fully working under the newest Cubic Chunks build! (See https://github.com/OpenCubicChunks/CubicChunks/commit/8bf8767bfbb86b3e39551781c79197c6eea11205.) For now, the only issue is the master staff's lightning effect not rendering properly when in very high coordinates.

im not sure if this is cause by the cubic chunks converter so rather it be in cubic chunks converter or here

the meshes are built from multiple blocks and it seems like every block is converted to that mesh

accidentally i also tried converting a world also with immersive engineering (stuff built from immersive engineering) and the game crashes when trying to play the converted world

and i converted the world without immersive engineering and it plays but with missing stuff from immersive engineering

@jimmyking2004 Yes, modded worlds are not supported at all by the converter. I suggest you make an issue there (though iirc there might be one already)

This has nothing to do with mod compatibility
