Open bounty for multi-chain DApps

Prize Bounty

Total prize of USD 15,000

Challenge Description

As a developer-friendly venture capital, IOSG believes there are world-changing entrepreneurs. Kickstarter Program is designed to support those developers and early-stage project teams contributing to the blockchain ecosystem worldwide. We would like to see more innovative spirits and help them grow. In this open bounty for the Open DeFi Hackathon, we are interested in the following directions but not limited to:

Submission Requirements

  1. The application, infrastructure tool, smart contracts and/or storing state must be built utilizing components from 2 or more chains.

  2. Open source code must be submitted, preferably hosted on Github (tag with #opendefi)

  3. Submission must include a maximum 10 minutes video recording of the product demo + pitch demonstrating the functionality and a business case.

Judging Criteria

  • A panel of judges will rate your project on a scale from 1-5 on the criteria below

Evaluation Criteria Description
Technical Implementation How challenging was the project to implement? Does the project push the boundaries of what is possible within the timeframe of the hackathon?
Completion State Project state (like MVP, functional) Proper documentation and testingPlan forward beyond the hackathon

One of the great things about holidays is to ease off your mind and enjoy your deserved free time without having to think about mundane practicalities. Sometimes, it is good to just pick a location and stay as much as you like without having to arrange everything beforehand.

That's why we have created AbodeMe. A decentralised platform that allows you to rent a property in a fluid way as we say, without any time limits just pay as you go on an hourly basis. The tenant can then enjoy a hassle-free rental experience while the landlord is paid continuously and is protected against accidental damage by a security deposit stored on the contract. Upon starting the rental period, the tenant will be given the keycode to unlock the safety box with the entrance key, stored in Secret Network and burned after reading. In this way, the landlord doesn't have to always be present for the tenant and let them in. Finally, by having the dapp run on Polygon we were able to reduce gas costs by approximately 70%, minting the NFT containing the property data costs just a fraction of dollar compared to the $60-80 figure in Ethereum mainnet.

Superfluid cashflows in xDAI allow capital value to be preserved from market fluctuations and can pave the way for a future implementation of a Polygon/xDAI bridge using xPollinate.

A few key features of the platform:

NFT is becoming huge. After Uniswap launch his V3 we just realize his potential for DEFI. Then we see project like NFT swap allowing people to swap NFT for other NFT. So now we want to allow people to wrapp their ERC20 or any other fongible tokens from any blockchain to NFT on any kind of blockchain accepting NFTs. Creators can design their own wrapp and use our opensource Licence. 4) mateusz76 has started work.

  • The project should be deployed either on the testnet or mainnet, with a deployed site/server/etc.
  • The project should be an original work of an individual participant or a group project
