@DBishton Could you please indicate detail steps to reproduce the Issue? I could actually create a test slider successfully and since I do not know which parameters you are trying to use, I cannot help you with this issue further.
Also, @DBishton and @davidmhill Can you please cleanup the sliders marked as test? In general, you should not use the production instance for maintaining test content (for that, you can use the PP environment). Or at least remove it once you are finished with testing.
According my observation, the problem caused by the permission issue. No matter the permission is assigned to the any user roles, those users can't update the slide even the administrator users. Only, the supper admin user can update the sliders. I'm not sure when did the issue happen. FYI: @acorbi, the new version of the Feature Article Pro is released, we should test and upgrade to the new version.
@DBishton can you confirm @Huyeng 's hypothesis?
@acorbi @Huyeng I have just started editing with the superadmin account and no issues so far. When using my usual admin credentials, it would intermittently allow access to different editing screens of the plugin, but frequently result in the error in the original issue.
E.g. https://opendevelopmentmekong.net/wp-admin/post.php?post=1911664&action=edit
Trying to edit this slide from the admin account would produce different results. Once I couldn't access it at all, another time it let me in but then reverted to the "-1" error above after I made a change and tried to save.

@acorbi Can you look into the status of the FA PRO slider plugin? There's a notification that an update is available, and trying to add a new slider gives this error:
