Because this is most likely not an initial prototype feature, more research must be done on what is required for back-end development for this type of integration.
After further conversations with trainers, I feel it is unclear right now how we would be able to incorporate this feature into the Co-Pilot. This would require something different than what Co-Pilot currently offers which is a configurable UI interface where you simulate specific censorship environments. Despite something like COGS being so important for the participants' learning experience, it requires a significant expansion of Co-Pilot capabilities that is not feasible at this time.
@elationfoundation Wanted to reopen this issue in order to flag that (in)security demos have continued to come up at conferences with digital security trainers when discussing Co-Pilot. What are your thoughts on having at least the ability to add this feature if they wanted to at a later date?
This feature may be a future enhancement to Co-Pilot, but having the ability to load these on the device to use during training may also be useful, as long as there is a smooth transition between the different components.
(in)security demos show participants specific vulnerabilities and risks associated with different behaviors, while then providing information to participants on how to mitigate them. These demos focus on a more hands-on learning experience, rather than a lecture style training session. https://github.com/schloss/insecurity-demos
Another component that would be useful to incorporate into Co-Pilot are COGS (Challenges, Observations, Games and Simulations). COGS focus on actively engaging with participants through different drills and games, while allowing them to practice the new set of skills they have acquired.
