OpenRoberta / openroberta-lab

The programming environment »Open Roberta Lab« by Fraunhofer IAIS enables children and adolescents to program robots. A variety of different programming blocks are provided to program motors and sensors of the robot. Open Roberta Lab uses an approach of graphical programming so that beginners can seamlessly start coding. As a cloud-based application, the platform can be used without prior installation of specific software but runs in any popular browser, independent of operating system and device.

Own obstacle in Simulation Ev3 #821

Open munka21 opened 4 years ago

Feature description In the simulation of Ev3 is an obstacle that can be placed anywhere on the field. It would be great if you could add your own obstacles and/or have several different objects to choose from.

Solution description: It would be great if you could add your own obstacles to existing backgrounds in the simulation. It would also be great if you could upload your own backgrounds and mark where the obstacles should be.

We have already defined here a proposal how we would like to solve these wishes: https://github.com/OpenRoberta/openroberta-lab/wiki/Simulation%3A-Basic-robot-and-environment-modelling If we define any color to generate obstacles you might get obstacles although you would like to have this color on the background. This is why we think the project in the wiki would solve a couple of more issues for the simulation and at the same time it will be extensible for e.g. give the obstacles a weight.
