On download page, http://www.open-scap.org/download/, we say that we can install SCAP Workbench on Ubuntu and Debian. But it is not true, because Workbench is not available on Ubuntu and Debian now. It can be there in future, but now it is not there, so we shouldn't advertise it.

well, apparently it's still advertised on the website for ubuntu and it is in fact a little misleading (unless I'm missing something)?

@v1k0d3n Actually, scap-workbench is available in Debian Testing (Debian 9 Stretch) https://packages.debian.org/stretch/scap-workbench And it will be available in Ubuntu 17.04 Zesty Zapus 😃 http://packages.ubuntu.com/zesty/scap-workbench

@mpreisler I suggest fixing this issue by mentioning the exact versions of Ubuntu and Debian on the Download page (http://www.open-scap.org/download/) and also on the SCAP Workbench page. eg. You can install SCAP Workbench on Debian 9 or newer using apt-get:

On Ubuntu 20.04, running apt-get install scap-workbench still can't find it.

I can confirm 20.04 is not working. It is not in the repository, in fact when I tried to install manually each package and dependency I get stuck on some libqt4 dependency... Apparently the code is not suitable to this version of Ubuntu nor 20.10
