@andreall, probably the best reference is this notebook from the Pythia Kerchunk Cookbook: https://github.com/ProjectPythia/kerchunk-cookbook/blob/main/notebooks/generating_references/GRIB2.ipynb This notebook should work with our Nebari "global/pangeo" environment
