MobileMura uses the device detection from MuraCMS. So if there is a problem with this detection, please contact the Mura Team.
Just to be sure, did you remove cookies before you tested? MuraCMS will save a cookie in your browser called mobileFormat witch it uses for the detection.
The blackberry user I was working with had never been there before. The other users had cleared cookies.
Also I’m having trouble getting any template other than the default one to show using this plugin. I have selected it in the sub-portal's mobile tab but it's still using the default template. Any ideas?
Thinking about it - I do not need seperate templates as much as I need individual level body ID's to target with CSS - in MobileMura it sees all top levels as homepage - as if it's treating it all like one big portal. Any thoughts on how to get different ID levels if not the different tempaltes?
Between the templates not working as I need them to and the blackberry issue I wonder if I missed something when installing mobile on this site. I followed the instructions on the mura site - making the mobile file with the images folder & then the js & css files in my site folder.
If I can get this working as I need it to once I can see myself using this often! I love what I see so far - I just need these last two hurdles cleared. Any help you can give would be great!!
I have the feeling you mix the standard mobile features of MuraCMS with the features of MobileMura (the plugin). Feel free to contact me on Skype (guustnieuwenhuis) so that you can show me what you are doing...
That Sounds WONDERFUL! Thank you. Are you available sometime tomorrow (9/14)?
Working on a development site and testing out the MobileMura plugin. Blackberry’s are still getting the full version – not the mobile version. Is anyone else seeing this? Any thoughts/fixes etc?
