Button labels are not picked by screen reader. I've investigated this issue before and found a workaround: https://github.com/Ormael7/Corruption-of-Champions/issues/147#issuecomment-753438551 but didn't test it for side-effects (technically it makes buttons into non-buttons so might require code to compensate for that)

I was able to test it with NVDA. It's the screen reader I use, it's free. just in case anyone would want to give it a shot while testing and coming up with a solution. Or reach out to me and I'd be happy to test any version you put out.
