Create the QTM documentation #43

Create a documentation for the QTM that explains the model on a higher level and provides more detailed insights into some key component equations where needed.

As a first iteration create in the form of Markdown files inside of this GitHub repo.

We can close this as a first version of the QTM documentation has been pushed now.

It'll need some more extensive work and refinement in the future, but it is good for now.
