Forecast performance metrics? #21

Are there any forecast performance metrics available, or are there plans to publish them? I'm particularly interested in reliability of the probabilistic forecasts, but lots of other standard metrics would be useful.

This looks like a very valuable dataset - thanks for sharing and documenting it!

We are working on a report with some of the performance metrics, but unfortunately we've been delayed in getting it out. I'm hopefully that we will have it available in a few months.

Sorry for the very long delay on this. I'm not sure it will still be relevant for you but the report documenting the Phase II datasets is finally out, see here: https://www.nrel.gov/docs/fy24osti/83828.pdf. This report includes some information on error metrics for select sites.
