I'm experiencing cascading world generation lag in my modded Minecraft 1.12.2 world, and it seems that Mowzie's Mobs is one of the mods contributing to the issue. During world generation, new chunks are being loaded while the game is populating adjacent chunks, which is causing performance issues, as seen in the logs.
[14:44:32] [Server thread/WARN] [FML]: Mowzie's Mobs loaded a new chunk [-132, 147] in dimension 0 (overworld) while populating chunk [-131, 147], causing cascading worldgen lag.
