Pertaining to the Datalab client, it's poor UX that our "distribution" (aka pie-chartable) indicators (e.g. method mix) have one and only one characteristic that can be selected. For example,
[indicator] ---> [characteristic]
Modern method mix (all women) ---> Method type (all methods)
I could be wrong about this, but it seems to be implicit that method mix is about method type.
Maybe we should just have the user be able to select "None" as the characteristic, and it would do what is currently done when "method type (all methods)" is selected?
