I used PCA to analyze the model outputs (p-value and R2 of RS vs Tair, RS vs Tsoil simple linear regression models), and a similar process for the Pm of SWC surrogate.
p-value and R2 of Tair and Tsoil always in the same direction and with similar strength.
Models (Tair or Tsoil as a predictor) in the colder region tend to have lower p-values and higher R2 values.
Models from warmer regions have a verity of R2 and p-value.
Tair is a good surrogate of Tsoil in RS modeling.
p-value and R2 of RS vs Pm models always in the opposite direction of RS vs SWC models, but with similar strength.
No environmental factors help explain the component variability.
