ISSUE TYPE
KSP and BDA Version

KSP 1.4.4 with BDArmory.1.2.1.4_06102018 Other mod involved: Airplane Plus

OS / ENVIRONMENT

windows 10

SUMMARY

my ventral cross section includes the entire hangar (or vab)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

make a craft with any mk2 half part as root, then flip the part upside down so the side with flat surface is facing up. the ventral cross section will include the hangar. the mk2 half MUST be root and upside down so it will work, if the root is not a mk2 half or is not upside down, the cross section will remain normal.

It's the RCS (Radar Cross Section) thing in BDAc.... yes BDAc. What are you doing?

TheKurgan commented 6 years ago

Stop it.

XOC2008 commented 6 years ago

And ALL PARTS are affected and affect the radar cross section. This is specifically about the ventral view when checking the radar cross section. Which if you actually READ it, you would have realized.

XOC2008 commented 6 years ago

You may have been confused but what you did was answer the OP in a dismissive manner by stating that it had nothing to do with BDA in any way. And frankly if you don't know about it, why are you answering questions that have to do with it?

Guys, just stop, no no no, just no, I posted this to fix the bug not to start flame wars.

@niteguard12 thanks for the bug report!

We'll try to see if this is a bug with the radar cross section calculation, or Airplane Plus doing something nasty with their parts, could go either way.
