Have you encounter any difficulty following the above step? As I was debugging my installation, I was stuck with having no MacOS(external) available in selection, and have to turn SATA mode to AHCI. after some digging, it seems impossible on the BIOS for IdeaPad, which has a consumer based BIOS c.f. ThinkPad series. Did u turn your SATA mode to AHCI during installation, and if yes how? Thanks. Model: Lenovo Ideaflex 5 (14ALC7)

Use the smokeless UMAF program mentioned in the guide, it unlocks the bios and allows you to make more changes. It has been a while since I have done this hackintosh, but I'm about to edit some things to get it working better and then I will update the guide with more info.
