Rollback to qidi standard #4

Hi there,

I would like to return to the initial state. I bought a new emmc for the freeqidi project. I exchanged these back for the originals and get an error. I suspect klipper version and toolhead do not have the correct FW. Unfortunately I can't find any documentation on how to downgrade it again. can I be helped?

Hey,

you need to "update" the Klipper firmware on the toolhead and the mcu like you did with my tutorial. So you need to make menuconfig with the old klipper v0.10.xx firmware and flash it like in my tutorial. If you have problems, please show the error messages/screenshots, so I can help you better.

Hi,

i do all points 1-8. now i install KIAUH. The next Step say install klipper. how can I choose the "old" version of qidi?

You said you have the original emmc. There is no need to do steps 1-8. Klipper is already installed. You have the old klipper on it and you can compile the old firmware for your devices from there. dont update klipper on that one and dont install a newer version. You must stick to the old firmware. Just do as I said: make menuconfig and and flash the old klipper firmware to the boards. best of luck
