[X] I have read the FAQ section, searched the open issues, and still think this is a new bug.
Describe the bug you encountered:
i disabled google apps for privacy and performance...
when i run kp2a and try to create gdrive cloud db, it insists on request contacts access system wide permission (maybe to access gdrive system api)... as i disabled all google apps (*) google accounts app tries to connect but finally throws me an error message, have to cancel and cannot create cloud databse
i think cloud sync is an essential feature, to avoid data inconsistency and device dependency, so shouldn't be restricted/demand external requirements
Describe what you expected to happen:
an option to kp2a directly ask google account user/passwd for direct gdrive access, in case some user had disabled like me
(*) ... anyway, i use aurora store and k9-mail instead google counterparts, and my battery lasts for 5 days and my phone are lightning fast... i am happy so i think i will stay this forever
