Hello there,

First of all thanks for this amazing open-source alternative to proprietary Reddit! I've just found about a website that uses throat and I am loving it already. Except there are two features dear to my heart which I couldn't find:

web feeds: for example, each sub could opt-in to exporting various web feeds (news/hot); and throat overall could offer to build web feeds on user-defined keyword searches (i.e. a user could register a search on term T and that would build a cross-site feed matching on T)
- edited: I see now that there's already support for RSS at {sub}/new. Cross-sub feeds on keyword matches might still be interesting :)
email notifications: it's always very handy to have your in-app notifications forwarded to your email client when offline

I'd also be happy to help with implementing these two feature if the maintainers view them in a positive light. That's what I am trying to determine now: Are these features desirable in your view?

@globalistas Polsaker declined the PR for the lack of a global toggle for (my understanding) "sites that don't want to [opt-in] to email notifications". Unless I am missing something, isn't that a trivial change to make in config.py?

It could be trivial, but I'm not a coder (sic! - I recruited another guy to help me with this PR) so not sure how to go about it. If you can get in touch on Discord maybe we can cook something up.
