Open last Session settings file at startup [feature request] #7

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

I think it would be a great feature if SnakeTail automatically loads the last
(i.e. most recent) Session settings file at start-up. Or, alternatively,
provide a way to configure this in the options.

If this is already possible (perhaps by tweaking the SnakeTail shortcut and
adding parameters), please provide an example because I can't get that working.
:)

It is possible to provide the path to a session file as command line
parameters. This allows you to create a shortcut to SnakeTail that opens the
session you want.

You're right Sweaty1, I probably did it in the wrong way but got it working now.

Perhaps this is of some help to other interested users:
Rightclick the SnakeTail shortcut, go to the Target field in the Shortcut tab,
and add the location where the SnakeTail settings file is located behind the
shortcut target. So for example, the shortcut Target field will look like:

"C:\Program Files\SnakeTail\SnakeTail.exe"
C:\Users\*name*\Documents\SnakeTailSettings.xml
