Audio clipping randomly appeared #284

This happened a few weeks ago. I was watching YouTube with my Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro. The audio randomly cut out, came back, and it came back sounding MUCH worse. The bass sounds very staticky, and I have to crank up the bass slider from transient to sustain and turn up the hz to even feel it. This also now comes with a downside, I deal with clipping; if the bass is even slightly too much it drowns out all the other frequencies, making them super quiet. This is so annoying to deal with because the music I listen to doesn't have consistent frequencies, so it feels like the volume is constantly going up and down because of the heavy bass; it's very disorienting. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, that didn't really help. I never restarted my phone after uninstalling though. How do I fix this?

Restarting your device could resolve the issue. Perhaps audio effects are still attached to a certain music sessions and they get applied again when Wavelet restarts. I am unsure yet how this can happen, but I suspect Wavelet was killed and then restarted by your device. Check out dontkillmyapp.com for tips on how to prevent this from happening. Clipping can be mitigated by enabling automatic post gain in the limiter settings.

I tried restarting, it didn't work. I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing cache and storage... nothing worked. I even reset the earbuds. They weren't defective when I got them and they still sound normal without Wavelet enabled. I'm gonna try updating my phone, as one just released today.
