Migrating from MySQL to AWS's NoSQL DynamoDB may have some benefits, and is an idea under discussion. This issue reifies the idea as something we can better track.

Oops. Because when I searched for a DynamoDB, I was inadvertently searching in the Pull Requests tab rather than the Issues tab. Closing as a dup of #443
