/editobject - Problem #105

Hi guys. I have a problem with /editobject command.

So, First I have a problem with plugins I have new put and work. But new I create object and type /editobject then I can edit object and when I press save object.

Then object is in one place and Object ID on oder place. And when I type one more /editobject then come this message:

"You are in editing mode already" So, server or what ever dont save new location of object. Btw. Sorry for my bad englisch.

Hi Barimba, I am a bit confused. Perhaps you could better explain using a translator?

The "You are in editing mode already" issue is known and can be resolved temporarily with a command, but if you are having issues with objects saving their location then this is a separate issue that needs resolved.

You said "plugins I have new put and work", and as you noted your English isn't great. Did you mean you've updated or changed the plugins? If so this is likely your issue. You should use the plugins that are released with TS, not updated versions until TS is updated to support them.

When I download texture studio then my commands don't work at all. After I insert new plugins then the commands and everything else work. But then my editobject doesn't work. When I edit the position of an object then it does not save the location of the object and it says I'm in editing already. So I'm not really sure what to do.

Okay so that IS your issue. Like I noted prior, do NOT update the plugins. You MUST use the ones that come with Texture Studio. It WILL NOT work if you update them.

Texture studio with these plugins does not work for me. When I insert new plugins then everything except / editobject works for me. And before that I insert plugins into the server.exe tells me that sscanf and streamer are not loaded plugins.

I can record a video for you to see the process and process of what's going on, or over the discord to share the screen for you to look at.

You'll need the corresponding redistributables from Microsoft. Or, these are also included, these should work for streamer. Not sure which year sscanf uses.
