Showing impact of climate change on heating demand by including latest predictions from KNMI #15

What would your feature do ?

I would like to see that the Toolkit can calculate the impact of climate change on the heating/cooling demand alongside with the insulation factor, dynamically over time. Based on the most recent climate predictions of the KNMI for The Netherlands

Proposed workflow

  1. Go to simulate or optimize a network when drawn
  2. Press a checkbox, which says include effects on climate change on the heating/cooling demand
  3. See what the result is in the KPI, like heat delivered in GJ or LCOE

@RonaldBerk let's discuss this a little bit further to get a clear view on your requirement on how this could work. Are you at Deltares at 30-11 in the morning?
