Hello Kris, thank you for bringing this to our attention and my apologies for the late response. Something we noticed is that certain emulator settings will make it so that the Eyes of Owls acts strange. What emulator are you using?
It's a known video plugin issue. If you're using Project64 Video (which appears to be just a crippled version of Glide64, try using the original final version from the author (http://web.archive.org/web/20120908113406/http://glide64.emuxhaven.net/files/Glide64_Final.zip) with frame buffer emulation ENABLED and hardware frame buffer emulation DISABLED. Remember to put glide3x beside Project64.exe and to put the plugin folder beside Project64.exe as well***. If you're using Mupen64Plus, there's a plugin called Glide64mk2 which is based on Glide64 that may have a similar setting. And if you're using Ares, this probably won't be an issue for you.
Should you happen to be using Jabo's Direct3D8 in the case that your PC is incapable of using Glide64 or GLideN64, stick to the 1.5.2 version from Project64 1.6 since all future versions of Jabo's plugins uses per-game hacks which don't work with most romhacks. Majora's Mask's lens of truth being one of them.
Hello, The eyes of owl (lense of truth) are not working for me. When I activate them, it doesn't show anything new even though I know there's a chest or something at the location.
Can you help me?
Thank you,
Kris
